RTZ is a private company founded in 1993 with the sole focus to provide Real Time 3D Applications for the consumer market. 

Since February 2002, the company core business is to develop quality Real Time 3D entertainment content for Mobile Phones, specializing in delivering high level of excellence in restrictive platforms, performance memory and file size.

With the advent of 3d gaming on the mobile platform, RTZ's experience was ideally suited to this highly restrictive platform. RTZ's Team skills have been crucial in the creation of the first generation games within an extremely difficult development environment. “ Movistar Racing 3D” based on Moto GP's World Champions Dani Pedrosa and Sete Gibernau , and developed for Telefonica in march 2004, became the first “true 3D” mobile racing game commercially distributed over the air directly to end users. It stayed firmly at the number one slot for +3 months in Telefonica for the targeted phones.

2 nd Generation 3D Mobile Games

With titles such as “Capone Casino 3D” and “Son Of Dracula 3D ”, RTZ are now creating “second generation” titles, where experience gleaned over the years can be employed to get more power out of each device than is first deemed possible.

RTZ skills are specifically relevant on the extremely low 3D performance of the majority of the phones available today on the market, and where customers are currently having extremely poor experiences due to development unsympathetic to the restrictions imposed by the platform.

By designing a game to specifically target these low end devices RTZ circumnavigate the specific challenges these phones present and produce compelling experiences for the user.

Using techniques and tricks developed over the years, RTZ is producing titles where excellent gameplay is matched with graphics that are generally considered impossible on the phones targeted. Features such as facial morphing, modulated shading and realistic lighting effects are used extensively to give the user a supreme experience on a game that still fits within the 300k file downloadable size budget.

3D Graphics Acceleration goes mobile

These same skills built on the low powered hardware mobile devices to date can bring scaled advantage when dealing with higher performance phones where RTZ are leading the way in pushing these phones to the maximum; including competitive analysis of JSR 184 Engines for ARM and demos for the next generation of hardware accelerate mobile phones.
